At Broughton Pianos, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the magic of playing a piano. However, we understand that the financial commitment involved in purchasing a high-quality instrument can be a significant hurdle. That’s why we’re proud to participate in the Take It Away scheme, an initiative by Creative United, supported by Arts Council England and Arts Council of Northern Ireland, designed to make it easier than ever to bring a piano into your home.
Who Can Benefit from the Take It Away Scheme?
The Take It Away scheme is aimed at making high-quality instruments more accessible to a wide range of potential buyers. Whether you’re:
- A young musician aged 18-25 looking to invest in your first piano,
- A parent wanting to support your child’s musical education,
This scheme offers flexible, affordable financing options to help you purchase the perfect piano.
What Are the Financial Options?
One of the standout features of the Take It Away scheme is its 0% interest financing, which makes buying a piano even more affordable. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect:
- 0% interest loans for purchases up to £2,000, available with a repayment period of 9 months.
- 0% interest loans for purchases up to £5,000, available with a repayment period of 18 months.
What Are the Requirements?
To apply for the Take It Away scheme, there are a few requirements to keep in mind:
- Age: Applicants must be over 18 years old. Young musicians aged 18-25, or those buying on behalf of someone under 18, are eligible for the scheme.
- Credit Check: As with most financing options, approval is subject to a credit check.
- Residency: You must be a permanent resident of the UK.
Is There a Limit to What You Can Buy?
The Take It Away scheme covers a broad range of instruments and accessories, from acoustic and digital pianos to essential items like stools, stands, and metronomes. Whether you’re looking to buy a grand piano for your home or need a digital piano that fits your modern lifestyle, the flexibility of this scheme means you can tailor your purchase to your needs and budget.
